Kmart shoppers are going wild over a brand-new product that’s both practical and adorable. Following the release of the $1.75 can strainer which recently went viral online, the popular retailer is now selling a 10 pack of French Fry Chip Clips for the same price.

The clips offer a quirky way to keep your snacks fresh and come with a magnetic storage case so they can be displayed on the fridge. One shopper showcased the unique product in a video on TikTok earlier this week which has already racked up over 600,000 views.

“If you’re looking to spend $1.75 on something today, run to Kmart for these new fries kitchen clips,” he said. “You can use them to seal anything in the kitchen that you’ve opened and not finished, but even better, it’s magnetic so you can pop this cute little thing on your fridge.”

He added in the caption that the clips make him want to open snacks and not finish them in one sitting just so he can use them.

The video has received hundreds of comments from people saying they will definitely be purchasing the “must-have” gadget, with one shopper writing: “I have never added to cart so fast.”

“Omg these are so cute!” another added, while a third replied, “Omg they are adorable! They are a need not a want”.

“I hope Kmart is paying you because I watched that once and went straight to the website and ordered 4,” someone else shared.

“I went and bought some today. I showed the staff at Kmart this clip and they directed me right to them. Thank you so much,” a different user replied.

Meanwhile, a handful of shoppers said they had bought the clips and weren’t satisfied with the quality.

“They don’t stay on the fridge lol. I got them they fell off straight away,” one person commented.

“Got this for Christmas. Printed a McDonald’s fries container cause the one that comes with is flimsy paper,” another remarked, followed by someone else who said, “I'd rather get quality clips that will last for years”.

Others also pointed out that Kmart has also released a 20 pack of basic bag clips in various sizes and colours for $1.75 - but where’s the fun in that?
