King Charles' reason for avoiding Prince Harry during London visit: 'Drama'
It comes after the King and Duke of Sussex had a 30-minute meeting after His Majesty was diagnosed with cancer.
King Charles refused to meet up with his son Prince Harry during his recent London visit to avoid "the drama", it's been revealed. The Duke of Sussex flew to see his father earlier in the year after finding out he is battling cancer, however, the visit only lasted 30 minutes, despite Harry flying from his home in the US just to see his father.
At the time, royal expert Robert Jobson told The Sun that the meeting was kept to just half an hour in order to keep the King's stress levels down.

"You don't want his blood pressure going up. The King's not very well, whatever type of cancer it is, he's undergoing treatment," he said. "The best thing for him is calm," he added. "After the initial kiss and hug, love you dad, hope you get better soon, what issues are going to get raised? Things that will get your blood pressure rising."
Harry was in London this week for Invictus Games events, with his spokesperson confirming Harry wouldn't be seeing his father as his request for a visit was denied.
"In response to the many inquiries and continued speculation on whether or not the Duke will meet with his father while in the UK this week, it unfortunately will not be possible due to His Majesty’s full program," they said.
"The Duke of course is understanding of his father’s diary of commitments and various other priorities and hopes to see him soon."
However, the Daily Mail's Richard Eden has claimed it wasn't just the King's "full program" that stopped the father and son from catching up.

"He doesn’t need the drama in his life," he says a source close to the King revealed to him. "Harry and Meghan have brought him, and the rest of the family, nothing but worries over the past few years."
Eden adds that he doesn't believe that Harry and his wife Meghan Markle won't be able to repair the feud until they apologise for criticising the royal family countless times.
Charles is reportedly most upset about Harry's portrayal of his wife Queen Camilla in his book Spare.
