Yahoo Lifestyle Julia Fox steps out topless in an open trench coat to totally free the nip
Confession time: Few celebrity red carpet appearances excite us more than Julia Fox. While we might dream of wearing a gown as stunning as Sabrina Carpenter's or long to pull off edgy attire as well as Sabrina Elba does, when it comes to show-stopping 'fits that actually leave us speechless, well, that's so Julia.
Yep, there's no denying the model, actress, author and mother (in every sense of the word) knows how to make a statement. And that's exactly what she did when she attended a MAC event in New York yesterday [Thursday 6 February] wearing just a trench coat undone at the neck and knotted at the waist to reveal a *very* realistic naked breastplate underneath. Pulling the coat's lapels further apart, Julia exposed her entire torso to totally free the nipple.
Well, kinda... It did indeed free some nipples, but whether they were Julia's actual own is still to be confirmed.
With a raw edge sitting just below her clavicle, the orange breastplate was moulded to her chest as if it had been cast directly onto her body. Nude Jimmy Choo heels were her only other addition, along with the beige trench. We love the classic jacket as much as the next fashion girlies, it is widely regarded as a wardrobe essential for good reason. But our trench coat outfits usually involve more clothing, soz Julia.
Her choice of outerwear seems to be a significant one given the trench coat's controversial past association as a ‘flasher mac’, however, we know Julia is unafraid to confront taboo topics or make political statements with her clothing. Plus, given Julia stars in the make-up brand's latest viral campaign for its new line of nude lipsticks that sees her pose totally nude on the New York subway – save for a stunning glam beauty look, natch – what better option is there to wear to the ‘I Only Wear MAC’ event than, well, not much?
