"In terms of villains, I'm gonna go Hugo," he tells us. "Hugo Weaving is in my favourite movie of all time, one of them – I'm going to say top three – The Matrix. He played Mr Smith, and he was so good. I had to watch that movie right away twice in a row.
"So I'm gonna go Hugo, he'd be a badass."
When we suggested The Matrix actor could play a boxing kangaroo, Jack shared that he had other ideas for Hugo.
"A boxing kangaroo, that's not bad," he says, adding, "The weird thing with the kangaroo though, is you don't think of them as villainous, you think they're kind of cute!"
"But then when it gets right down to it, you do not want to get in a fight with one because they will knock you on your butt," Jack explains. "But Hugo seems to me more of a reptilian – I'm not sure what kind of character – maybe a Komodo dragon, something of that nature."
Jack Black reveals his favourite film from his own catalogue
When asked to look back at his career, Jack revealed his favourite movie that he's worked on is a fan favourite, telling us: "School of Rock, gotta be. That's the one that put me on the map, and it's the one that was written for me by a genius writer, Mike White and [we had] a great director, Richard Linklater. Going with School of Rock all the way."
When asked if he's ever taken anything from a set, he adds, "Well, I did keep my guitar from School of Rock, but in fairness, I didn't really steal it, because I bought it, and I brought it to set and I used my own guitar in the movie.
"But usually they don't like you to take things away from the set," the actor shares. "You get in trouble, the studio likes to keep all of that."
The movie that's on Jack's bucket list

"I'd love to do a musical," he says. "I mean, I always have a little bit of music in all the movies I do, but I've never done one that was like a proper musical where it's music all the time. That would be a cool challenge."
