Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster fans notice odd detail in new loved-up pics: 'Disappointing'

Fans have noticed an odd detail in new photos of Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster, in which the pair look particularly smitten. The new photos show the pair enjoying a walk together, hand-in-hand.

Hugh and Sutton's relationship was confirmed last week when they were first pictured together after rumours began swirling they were together last year. Hugh and his ex-wife Deborra-Lee Furness announced their split in September 2023, and Sutton filed for divorce from her husband Ted Griffin in October last year.

The new couple were spotted in activewear for a low-key outing, where they were seen laughing and looking into each other's eyes. However, in one snap, Hugh appears to be looking at the cameras while smiling, leaving some to believe the pair called the paps on themselves.

"They need to stop calling the press on themselves," one user wrote on Instagram.

"Looking right at the camera lol," another said, while a third simply added, "Disappointing."

"Please, stop call the paparazzi. This is so ridiculous," someone else said.

"This screams closeted PR stunt," another added.

Others thought the pair looked happy, with one saying "they make a beautiful couple".

"I like this coupling. His marriage always looked fake," one fan hit out.

"I never saw a photo of him like this with his wife..." another said.

"Love them," a third added, with someone else writing, "These two 😍."

It comes after reports Hugh and Deborra-Lee, who were married for 27 years, are struggling to finalise their breakup.

It's been reported that Hugh and Deborra-Lee have yet to actually file for divorce as they didn't have a prenup in place, making things much harder. Insiders believe that the split may get "messy" as they attempt to divide their estimated $250m fortune.

The pair first announced their split to People with a statement that read: "We have been blessed to share almost 3 decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage. Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth.

"Our family has been and always will be our highest priority," the statement continued. "We undertake this next chapter with gratitude, love, and kindness. We greatly appreciate your understanding in respecting our privacy as our family navigates this transition in all of our lives."

According to Daily Mail, insiders claim that Hugh and Deborra-Lee were working towards filing for divorce before Christmas, but this didn't happen.

"One of the biggest reasons why they haven’t yet filed is that they never had a prenup," an insider claims. "When they got married, they thought it would be forever. Who doesn’t? At the time, neither of them expected Hugh’s career to get as enormous as it has."

"Because there was no prenup, and he made a fortune during their marriage, this divorce is not going to be cut and dry. It may even get messy because the stakes are high," they add. "A lot of moving parts need to be worked out and there is a huge amount of money involved."

While the pair want to "make it as easy as possible", it hasn't turned out that way given they are "no longer friends".

"They put their differences aside to co-parent and he cares a lot about is children," they add.
