Deborra-Lee 'fuming' with Blake Lively over 'disturbing' detail in Hugh Jackman split

Deborra-Lee Furness has reportedly been left 'fuming' with Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, both of whom she thought were her friends, as she believes they knew about her ex-husband Hugh Jackman's new relationship with Sutton Foster and didn't tell her. Hugh and Deborra-Lee split in 2023 after 27 years together.

Hugh and Sutton took their rumoured relationship public last week, after photos obtained by People magazine showed the stars walking down the street hand-in-hand. The pair have known each other for 20 years and appeared in The Music Man together on Broadway from December 2021 to January 2023.

Woman's Day claims Deborra-Lee has been left "disturbed" over one detail about her split.

Speaking of her feud with Blake and Ryan, an insider says, "She knew they would side with Hugh when they split, but what has disturbed Deb is the very real possibility that Ryan and Blake must have known about Sutton."

"Truth be told it was always difficult for Deb to bond with Blake because they’re so different but she felt they got on just fine."

An insider previously told RadarOnline.com that Deb was "seething with rage over being the last to know", adding she felt "blindsided".

Deborra-Lee's 'sense of relief' after Hugh Jackman split

After the photos of Hugh and Sutton were released last week, a source told the Daily Mail that Deborra-Lee was 'relieved', because it meant she could move on.

"Deborra-Lee feels a sense of relief," they said. "She trusted her intuition and her intuition was right. She finally feels at ease after getting confirmation that her fears and suspicions were warranted.

"She can now fully close this chapter and move on."

While the source at Woman's Day suggests Deborra-Lee might be keen to stay out of the public eye, the actress is expected to appear at the Australian Open with her and Hugh's two children, Oscar, 24, and Ava, 19, for the women's final, according to the Herald Sun. It's unknown if she will attend any earlier matches.

"It’s not easy for her to see Hugh when he’s back in New York or having to see him and Sutton together," the source shares, adding that rumours Hugh and Sutton are house hunting in LA was "enough to keep her hunkered down".

"She’s heartbroken, and a part of her would be happy to just retreat from life, but she’s not that type," they added. "She’s excited about exploring all kinds of options, even going back to school! She’s eyeing up a documentary or podcast production course, and she’s had everyone from Housewives bosses to The View producers reach out to her."
