Farmer Wants A Wife's Brenton rumoured to be dating his runner-up Rachel
EXCLUSIVE: The 2023 stars have responded to speculation that they are back together.
Seven months after announcing his split from his ‘winner’ Sophie Holcombe, Farmer Wants A Wife’s Brenton Kuch has sparked rumours that he has gotten back together with his runner-up Rachel Boothman.
The season 13 stars attended the popular country music festival CMC Rocks in Ipswich together over the weekend, with the sheep and cattle farmer sharing a photo with his former flame to Instagram on Monday.
While Brenton didn’t write a caption alongside the post, his followers quickly took to the comments to question whether he and Rachel were in a romantic relationship.
“Please say you are with Rachel!” one person wrote, while another added, “The whole of Australia wants him and Rachel to be together”.
“Omg! I hope you're definitely back with Rach, Brenton, that’s who you belong with buddy… awesome couple!” a third replied.

“I hope you are back together. She was my first choice for you,” someone else shared, followed by a different user who said, “Yessssss should have chosen her”.
Rachel, who appeared on the Channel Seven reality show alongside her twin sister Chelsea, also posted a gallery of snaps from the music festival including a group shot with Brenton.
The pair are standing close to each other in the middle of the photo wearing different outfits to Brenton’s snap, which proves that they spent time together over multiple days.
Brenton and Rachel respond to rumours
Speaking with Yahoo Lifestyle about the rumours, Rachel admitted that she and Brenton were surprised by the response to their reunion.
“Just to clear a few things up for people, Brenton and I are not back together,” she said. “We are just really good friends and get along really well, plus over the weekend we were a part of the same friend group.
“This past weekend was the first time we’d seen each other since filming wrapped but we have stayed in contact ever since and decided we would be better off as good friends.”
She added that fans of the reality show can hear more about her time with Brenton and their long-awaited reunion on next week’s episode of Times Two the Podcast, which she co-hosts with her sister Chelsea.
