Up to 50 per cent off 'flattering' Aussie brand loved by Jelena Dokic
Celebrities like Jelena Dokic and Casey Donovan are huge fans of Taking Shape, which has empowered plus sized women for almost 40 years.
When a brand has high-profile fans and followers that include none other than television royalty Chrissie Swan, tennis player and author, Jelena Dokic, singer and Sister Act the Musical star, Casey Donovan and plus-size content creator Amy Abrahams, you know they must be doing something right.
Taking Shape has been empowering women with their curve-size clothing for 40 years, thanks to its range of clothes that offer something for every body, style and occasion. The reason for this is simple – according to Melbourne personal stylist and founder of Dressyu, Sarah Singer, “Taking Shape is like a good, reliable and much-loved friend.”
“You know that when you walk into a Taking Shape store or shop online, you will without doubt always find that winning outfit," she tells Yahoo Lifestyle. "Their cuts are flattering, styles are varied, it's great quality and what I also love is that it's a go-to for my clients of all ages."

Celebrity fans in love with Aussie brand
Personal stylist and founder of Spree with Me, Imogene Whittle, told Yahoo Lifestyle that many of her clients cite the much adored, plus-sized fashion label Taking Shape, as well as brand collaborator, Casey Donovan, as their style inspiration.
“I have worked with personal styling clients who see Casey as a style inspiration, particularly for her choice of designs that play with both masculine and feminine forms. This is a wonderful example of how Taking Shape’s pieces can cater to bold, expressive fashion tastes,” Whittle told Yahoo.

New ranges feature lots of special pieces: 'Totally chic'
The spring and summer ranges include a selection of special occasion outfits – think sparkly pieces, cocktail dresses and pantsuits, linen (because, of course), matching sets (doesn't everyone love a matching set?!) and the colour of the season – white – offering pieces that suit everyone while also embracing fashion trends.
“This Spring /Summer we are seeing another big return of linen and there are some gorgeous pieces in Taking Shape such as the Peggy Linen Stripe Spot Top and the Linen Blend Sicily Ada top,” Singer said.
“Pair with pieces on the lower half that compliment, or pair up as a matching set, one of this spring/summer key looks which I think looks totally chic.”
For dressier occasions and the upcoming festive season, Whittle says the Natural Holiday Pocket Dress is a hot pick.
“It’s the perfect way to give a subtle nod to this vibrant colour trend without going head-to-toe. Pair it with yellow accessories to complete the look and bring a cheerful touch to your style,” she said.

Another highlight from Taking Shape’s range is the Cotton Lace Valletta Overtop.
“Sheer over-tops are perfect for staying covered while looking elegant in warmer weather,” Whittle said.
“The mesh sleeves add a refined touch to the tank-style under layer, and the see-through fabric offers a flattering, streamlined effect. White makes a wonderfully festive choice, whether paired with elegant gold or silver accents or bold pops of red or green.”
