Aldi shoppers love this $40 caravan essential: 'It's so good'

If there's one thing we know about Aldi it's that they do some bloody good deals, deals so good that sometimes you don't even know you need a product in your life, until you're walking down that aisle in the middle of the store and snapping up things you never knew existed.

Whether it's simplifying your life with meal kits, or running to the store on the days they have the special buys reformer pilates machine available, Aldi has a product for any avid shopper looking to save a dollar or two.

Lately, Aldi shoppers have taken to a popular Facebook page to rave about a nifty little kitchen item, that's great for reducing food wastage and also a perfect caravan essential for those hitting the road.

Aldi fans rave about $40 vacuum food sealer: 'Love it'

One fan posed the question about the food sealer, given at only $40 it is cheaper than other ones on the market.

"Has anyone bought this vacuum food sealer? It’s a lot cheaper than anything else I’ve looked at, so I’m a little worried it won’t last," they said.

Aldi fans flocked to the comments to share their own experiences of buying the product, with some saying it had lasted them "years".

"I take mine in the caravan. It’s so good. Had it for years and you can use other bags, just take your dimensions with you shopping," one person shared.

"I bought one 4-5 years ago for my sous vide cooker. It still works," another said. "You can use any vacuum bag for this but I see Aldi regularly sells them too."

"I think we bought our one 4-5 years ago," another person said. "We use it to bag whole beasts and lambs and has never missed a beat."

"Mine has lasted years and still works perfectly," another said. "I always stock up on the pre-cut bags as I find them better to use than the rolls."

"I’ve had mine for years and I love it. I purchased it originally thinking even if it lasts 2-3 years it will be worth it as others are sooo expensive," another fan shared.
