11 Men's Fashion Trends to Watch for Fall 2025
Dare to stand out with a more maximalist approach.

They say less is more, but sometimes, you've gotta live a little. While menswear may conjure images of classically masculine silhouettes, neatly tailored blazers, and kaleidoscopic reinterpretations of iconic yet simple sneaker styles, our favorite fall/winter 2025 menswear trends demonstrate a playful approach to getting dressed. (Polka dots and pointy shoes expressed a similar sentiment in the womenswear fall/2025 collections.)
From New York to Milan and Paris, designers relied on mixed textiles, unexpected hemlines, and bold color combinations to make one point loud and clear: subtlety is out. For fall, avoid blending in with the crowd and opt for a velvety, '70s-like jewel-toned suit, as presented at Giorgio Armani, Todd Snyder, and Willy Chavarria, the Mexican American designer who showcased his collection in Paris for the first time.
At Saint Laurent and Lanvin, decadently luxurious, trench-like leather coats reigned supreme. And although the style is never-not polarizing, Acne Studios and Prada made a case for Y2K-like skinny jeans, this time paired with floral tops and attention-grabbing boots and handbags. Delicious chocolate browns, punchy pinks, and scorching reds added oomph to the typically subdued fall color palettes.
Below are 11 of the best (and boldest) fall/winter 2025 menswear trends.
Suave in Suede
KIDSUPER / MM6 / LANVIN
Is it the Formula 1 effect? Inventive twists on the sporty racing jacket were evidenced at MM6 Maison Margiela, Lanvin, and Kid Super, where suede patchwork details were woven into rich leather jackets ready to hit the track at warp speed. Bonus points if you've got the coordinating pants to boot.
Pink-Slipped
DIOR / Louis Vuitton / KENZO
Fuzzy coats, quilted sweaters, and mid-length blazers were washed in various iterations of pastel pink, a refreshing palette for fall's traditionally darker tones. From Kenzo to Louis Vuitton and Dior Men, the traditionally feminine hue shined bright on the runways as a reminder that experimenting with new, flashy colors is for all, gender politics aside.
Bermuda Shorts
Louis Gabriel Nouchi / Kenzo / Todd Snyder
If you're not a fan of Paul Mescal's penchant for itty-bitty shorts, you're in luck. From Todd Snyder to Louis Gabriel Nouchi and Kenzo, Bermuda shorts were all the rage, adding a few below-the-knee inches to the barely-there cut splattered across recent seasons. These aren't your grandfather's Bermuda's, though; leather and shearling swoop in to elevate the voluminous silhouette.
Size Matters
AMIRI / DIOR / Louis Vuitton
Wallets are a thing of the past. Instead, menswear designers encourage fashion fans to carry a handbag hoisted onto your shoulder with a strap or swinging from a dangling chain. Louis Vuitton, Amiri, and Dior Men offered a fun assortment of mini styles to tote.
Bohemian Rhapsody
Willy Chavarria / GIORGIO ARMANI / TODD SNYDER
We're not suggesting you start dressing like Rachel Zoe, but '70s-inspired suits with wide lapels and generously cut proportions pump new life into the groovy decade staples so regularly referenced on runways. This time, though, the key is to wear jewel tones in rich textiles like velvet and corduroy.
Boxy Trousers
GIORGIO ARMANI / ZEGNA / DRIES VAN NOTEN
Zegna, Dries Van Notes, and Giorgio Armani take a relaxed approach to putting your best foot forward, draping trousers in an excess of fabric for a laid-back but refined look. And while it's common to style an oversize pair of pants with a form-fitting tee or muscle tank, for instance, this season finds ostentatious scarves, giant bows, and silky shirts as the ideal cherry on top.
Blue Jean Baby
ACNE / Louis Vuitton / Prada
To wear skinny jeans or not to skinny jeans? That is the question. While Gen Z and millennials may never agree on the cut, Acne Studios, Prada, and Louis Vuitton settled on cigarette-tight denim pants as the alternative for those not interested in the oversized aesthetic.
50 Shades of Brown
Yves Saint Laurent / ZEGNA / PRADA
This season, the seemingly omnipresent chocolate brown womenswear trend trickled into the men's department. In particular, leather moto styles, blazers, and geometric jackets dripped in a milk chocolatey hue like the delicious pieces at Saint Laurent, Prada, and Zegna would certainly get Hershey's seal of approval.
A Pop of Red
GIORGIO ARAMANI / PRADA / HERMES
For those accustomed to uniform dressing (think: a blazer with a casual T-shirt, tailored pants, and your go-to loafers), fall/winter 2025 offers one key hack for feeling like a new you: color. Prada, Hermés, and Giorgio Armani all received the red memo, offering a menu of options—luminescent trousers, bold yet tonally-muted jackets, cozy-soft transitional coats—for incorporating the alarm-siren color into your wardrobe.
'The Matrix,' Part 5
AMIRI / SAINT LAURENT / LANVIN
Neo, Morpheus, and Trinity would all fall for this trend. Channel your inner undercover sleuth in an undeniably statement-making (and cool) black leather trench coat. From Saint Laurent to Lanvin and Amiri, the buttery outerwear staple is upgraded with both utilitarian and flamboyant wrap-around belting.
That Old Cardigan
ISABEL MARANT / TODD SNYDER / AMIRI
There's a boyish charm to this trend. Understandably, cardigans may now be associated with the coastal grandma and grandpacore TikTok trends, however, revitalized takes on wool pattern play, dyed mohair, and psychedelic prints breath a youthful jolt of energy into the closet staple most often associated with Mr. Rogers.
