Whether it’s the iconic ‘kisses’ or the delectable ‘choc balls’, sweet treats from Hershey’s have long been a cult favourite in the US. And when the 130-year-old confectionery company introduced its Cookies ‘n’ Creme chocolate bar in 1994, it was an instant hit.

The combination - a white creme bar sprinkled generously with crispy cookie nuggets - went on to become a popular ice cream flavour, finally appearing in supermarkets as ice cream sticks. Needless to say, the move was met with rave reviews.

“Absolute pleasure to eat,” one Woolworths customer declared of the creamy cookie-flavoured ice cream which was mixed with cookie pieces and coated in white chocolate with even more cookie crumbs.

“Melt in your mouth goodness. Recommend!” another added.

Australian YouTuber and TV and radio host Alo Baker - also known as The Food Dude - went so far as to say the sticks could be “one of the best ice creams I’ve ever had in my entire life” in a TikTok video.

Fellow ice cream aficionado and content creator Sarah Betts also raved about the supermarket find, hailing Hershey's as her favourite chocolate and giving the sweet treat a 9 out of ten.

Now, in news that will delight dessert fans, Cookies ‘n’ Creme ice cream is available in family-sized 1-litre tubs designed for sharing - and it’s on sale nationwide at Coles and Woolworths for just $10.

Brought to Australia in partnership with Australian ice cream brand Bulla, the tubs combine that famous velvety white chocolate base, swirled with rich chocolatey cookie chunks.

It isn’t the only new flavour to hit shelves in Australia.

Hershey’s Choc Ripple Mint is also available in 1-litre ice cream tubs - delivering a cool mint experience with a whopping 12 per cent of the tub filled with sweet, chocolatey fudge sauce formed into ripples.
