Selena Gomez Elevates Casual Dressing in Sheer Turtleneck and Coordinated Jacket for ‘Spring Breakers’ Screening With Fiancé Benny Blanco
Selena Gomez put her spin on elevated casual dressing while out in New York City on Wednesday with her fiancé Benny Blanco. The couple made a surprise appearance at a screening of the 2012 film “Spring Breakers,” in which Gomez stars, to promote her new album “I Said I Love You First” in collaboration with Blanco.
Gomez wore a semi-sheer chocolate brown turtleneck, which she coordinated with a burgundy and chocolate-toned, voluminous bomber jacket. The Rare Beauty founder also wore a pair of high-waisted blue jeans with her look and added a statement belt at the waist.

Finishing touches on Gomez’s attire included a pair of pointed-toe heels in a dark mauve tone. Her accessories featured a pair of gold hoop earrings and a small black bag. The “Call Me When You Break Up” singer often collaborates with stylist Erin Walsh. Gomez was also likely wearing her engagement ring from Blanco.
Gomez took to Instagram in December to announce her engagement to Blanco, sharing a carousel post of photos and video with her diamond ring. Gomez’s engagement ring is a marquise-shaped diamond stone set atop yellow gold pavé shoulders with a few details added by Blanco. The ring’s worth is estimated at roughly $200,000, according to the diamond experts from U.K. retailer Steven Stone.
Over the last several months, Gomez and stylist Erin Walsh collaborated on several awards season looks. At the Oscars on March 2, Gomez wore a custom gown courtesy of American designer Ralph Lauren. Details of the gown’s construction included a hand-embroidered satin cuir evening dress, featuring a base fabric shade of blush pink. The gown featured off-the-shoulder straps and a formfitting silhouette with a cinched waistline.
“I Said I Love You First” is a collaborative studio album by Gomez and Blanco. The collaboration marks Gomez’s fourth studio album and Blanco’s second. The first single from the album, “Call Me When You Break Up,” debuted in February.
