It may be Super Bowl weekend, but that doesn't mean there isn't plenty of other content for those non-sports-loving bingers to dive into!

This weekend, Feb. 8-9, Netflix is leading the charge with streaming content, bringing back a fan favorite, Sweet Magnolias, and debuting an all-new fictionalized docudrama, Apple Cider Vinegar.

Missing reality TV royalty? Fret not, The Kardashians are back for another season on Hulu, and somehow, the drama is on another level, with the premiere including a shocking feature of Khloé Kardashian's OG man, Lamar Odom.

And for those who are into sports (or just are excited for Kendrick Lamar's halftime show and quirky commercials featuring celebrities doing crazy things (see: Jeremy Strong emerging from a Dunkin' can covered in coffee grounds)), the Super Bowl is airing live on Sunday, Feb. 9. Or you could always tune in earlier for the arguably more heartwarming game: the Puppy Bowl.

And there's more! Here's a list of the 10 best new movies and shows to watch this weekend and where to stream them.

Love Hurts

Love Hurts is a romantic action comedy starring Ke Huy Quan as a hitman-turned-realtor whose past quickly catches up to him when his brother seeks revenge. The movie also features a reunion between Quan and one of his The Goonies costars, Sean Astin.

"The day Sean arrived on set, I dropped everything and ran to give him a big hug," Quan said in the production notes of the film, per NBC News. “We’re brothers for life because of that movie."

Love Hurts releases in theaters on Feb. 7.

Heart Eyes

What's Valentine's Day without a little murder? The producers of Heart Eyes seemed to have that question on their minds when making this horror/romance movie centered around the "Heart Eyes Killer," who targets couples celebrating the annual love holiday.

Starring Mason Gooding as Jay and Olivia Holt as Ally, two young people who happen to meet at a coffee shop and are mistaken for lovebirds by the killer, the movie is a great fit to celebrate Valentine's Day because it's "equal parts romantic and scary," director Josh Ruben told PEOPLE ahead of its release. "We commit to both genres. So there truly is something for everyone."

Heart Eyes releases in theaters on Feb. 7.

Kinda Pregnant

Amy Schumer is back in a woman-centric comedy as a recently single person jealous of her friend's pregnancy. So she does what any (in)sane person would do — wear a fake belly and pretend to be pregnant. All is well until she meets her dream man, Josh (Will Forte), and finds she is far too deep into her lie.

Co-produced by Adam Sandler, Kinda Pregnant also stars Jillian Bell, Brianne Howey, Urzila Carlson and Lizze Broadway.

The Kardashians season 6

The queens of reality TV are back! The Kardashians returned in a bombshell first episode of The Kardashians season 6 on Feb. 6 featuring the return of Odom, Khloé's first husband, and a potentially new man for Kim.

The trailer also teased a "big year of celebrations" for the family featuring Khloé's 40th birthday and Kourtney's return to TV.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Netflix's new miniseries, which was released on Feb. 6, tells the (mostly) true story of Belle Gibson, an Australian wellness influencer who lied about having cured her terminal brain cancer through holistic medicine and a clean diet.

Gibson is portrayed by Kaitlyn Dever in a six-part limited series in the "true-ish story based on a lie,” per Netflix.

Sweet Magnolias season 4

Based on the romance novels by Sherryl Woods, Sweet Magnolias returned for its fourth season on Feb. 6. The show centers around three women — Maddie (JoAnna Garcia Swisher), Helen (Heather Headley) and Dana Sue (Brooke Elliott) — and their chaotic lives as they navigate heartbreak and love together.

"First and foremost, a lot happens in season 4 — like, jaw-dropping moments," Garcia Swisher told PEOPLE in July 2024. "I also think that we know our characters so well. We're so involved and in love with these stories, and I think that the fans also have that same sense of connection and being on this journey with us."

Invincible season 3

Prime Video's animated series about a 17-year-old boy (Steven Yeun) following in his father's (J.K. Simmons) footsteps — until he finds out his dad isn't the hero he seems to be — returned for its highly anticipated third season on Feb. 6.

The first three episodes released at the same time, with a new episode dropping weekly for the next four weeks.

We would be remiss not to include the arguably biggest item to watch this weekend: the 2025 Super Bowl.
