Tori Spelling is looking back on her experience having a threesome — and why she won’t be doing it again.

On the Feb. 3 episode of her misSPELLING podcast, the actress, 51, opened up about having a threesome during her time on Beverly Hills, 90210. Explaining that the cast was staying on the famous Queen Mary boat to film, Spelling said she decided to bring a couple of people back to her room after work one night.

“It was a state room. It was small and it was dark and lots of velvet,” she recalled. “I can still remember it. Not some good florals. Not good. But yeah, I had my one and only threesome, and it was me, a male and a female.”

Revealing that she enjoyed the experience “less” than she anticipated, Spelling said kissing other girls was always just “fun and games" to her.

“I'll put it this way: this is going back. I don't think girls nowadays do this because they're not there to, like, make guys be like, ‘Oh, my gosh,’” she noted. “But, you know, back in the ‘90s, it was kind of a thing. And you would do this thing where you would be like, ‘Let's shock the boys and make them drool,’ and you would make out with your friend. And whether you had interest in other in females or no interest at all, it was like, it's just two girls kissing.”

Joking that she has kissed all of the women on 90210 besides Jennie Garth, Spelling added that she never had an interest in being intimate with the same sex, and the threesome didn’t change that.

“I didn't have any exploration wants with a female,” she explained. “So this was behind-the-scenes, behind closed doors of the Queen Mary of all places. But, yeah. This boy wanted it, and I played along. I don't think at any point he was like, ‘Oh my God,’ because he would never have gone forward with it if I had spoken up and said, ‘I don't wanna do this.’ But, yeah, I was like, ‘Okay, you know, I feel safe with this human. I feel safe with this female human.’”

"I always say, You got to try anything once,” she continued. “But I came away from it feeling like, ‘Okay, I think I'll stick to boys. I'm definitely into boys and maybe just kissing girls for shock value in front of boys. But other than that, I'm good.’”

She went on to say that her nerves might have contributed to her not wanting to experiment with a threesome again.

“I felt like I was just too nervous,” shared Spelling, who went on to marry Dean McDermott in May 2006 before filing for divorce in March 2024. “I was anxious the whole time. The whole experience just felt off.”

This isn't the first time that Spelling has reminisced on her racier moments during the height of her 90210 fame. In November, the actress shared an Instagram post, which featured several sexy photos from a magazine spread she did back in 2000, and reflected on that era of her career, calling it "freeing."

"This was all about me showing that a good girl, aka Donna Martin, could still be a character based on faith, family, kindness, morals, strength, and mindfulness, while owning her allure and sexuality," she said, referring to her character in 90210. "I embraced my own style and showed a different side of Tori too. It was so freeing to step out of how others saw me and into my own confidence."
