"The clue, 'maybe I started out grim but know I actually enjoy life.' I've read a lot about Darren's struggles before coming out as queer and that's why I got so emotional," she said. "And if it's not you I'm going to seem really silly right now. But I think that was the main thing."

Other clues have also pointed to Darren's identity: he released a song called 'A Little Death' in 2022 and one of Grim's clues stated "I know what it’s like to be on the edge" with Savage Garden first forming in the '90s under the band name Red Edge.

Another clue stated, "I come to lead your soul so step into the light" with Darren releasing a song in 2007 titled 'Step Into The Light'.

Fans adamant about Grim Reaper's identity after one specific clue

"Definitely Darren Hayes, Michael Jackson was a huge influence in his life, he even mentioned this at his last concert in Brisbane," another stated.

"1000% Darren Hayes, no mistaking that voice, Anne Rice, bloodstained heart, out of the 'darkness' and 'step into the light' but the voice is the giveaway.. love you Darren," another clued-in fan commented.

"Definitely Darren Hayes. One of the clues tonight referred to 'Popular', which is one of his '00s singles, and there was a reference to 'earthly delights' which was a Savage Garden tour and compilation," another fan pointed out.
