Abbie Chatfield's hospital dash ahead of Masked Singer premiere

The Aussie star feared she "won't survive the day" after being hospitalised for a debilitating migraine.

Aussie star Abbie Chatfield, 28, has shared that a recent health battle landed her in hospital.

The media personality and Masked Singer judge shared on her Instagram stories that she was suffering a debilitating migraine, calling it the "worst tension migraine" of her life.

"I've been up all night vomiting and writhing in pain. It's now been 24 hours. Help," Abbie captioned the story, before asking her followers for their tips on how to get rid of the migraine.

"I'll try anything," she said.

Abbie then uploaded another selfie with the caption "I fear I won't survive the day x".

This all resulted in Abbie sharing an update this morning saying that she ended up in hospital.

"The medicine basically sedated me and it seemed to work until I woke up this morning with the same amount of pain," Abbie shared.

"Day three of migraine. P.S. Feet in hot water didn't do anything lmao, but worth a try for anyone with a less severe migraine!"

Abbie's burnout

In July Abbie revealed she had been in a retreat in Thailand, after dealing with severe work burnout and realising she had a "genuine addiction to work".

"I've been absolutely depleted and burnt out by the start of this year for a number of reasons," she said on her podcast It's A Lot.

"But I've been here for about five days and I think I've realised that my priorities need to shift a bit, to be honest, I've taken on so many jobs and so many roles."

This later resulted in Abbie quitting her radio show Hot Nights with Abbie Chatfield.

"I’m really happy with my decision and super proud of myself for letting this role go. I simply need to put my energy into projects that bring me joy and that energise me, rather than draining me," Abbie said when she announced her decision.
