Seven months after finishing second on last year’s season of The Block, fan favourites Eliza and Liberty Paschke have announced that they will be returning to TV. The sisters and podcast co-hosts are set to appear in Channel Nine’s brand new series Do You Want To Live Forever?, hosted by veteran TV journalist Tracy Grimshaw and medical expert Dr Nick Coatsworth.

The four-part series is described as a “groundbreaking new experiment” exploring the quest for longer life. Four Australian couples will have their lives put under the microscope as they “test the limits of human longevity”, from billion-dollar breakthroughs to simple secrets.

The participants who will transform their lives include a father-and-son duo, an older couple, a couple with a young family, and sisters Eliza and Liberty.

The reality stars shared a new trailer for the series on their Instagram Story on Sunday evening, writing: “Just when you thought you were rid of us. Coming to your screens in June…”

Do You Want To Live Forever? also marks Tracy Grimshaw’s return to Australian TV after stepping away from her longtime role on A Current Affair in November 2022.

Alongside Nick Coatsworth, the new promo video shows Tracy visiting Los Angeles, Mexico and Japan on a “global search for answers that could change your life”.

The new series comes shortly after Eliza and Liberty responded to rumours that they will be making an appearance on the upcoming twentieth season of The Block, which is currently being filmed in Phillip Island.

While the sisters revealed they hadn’t yet been contacted to return in February, they told Yahoo Lifestyle they would “be there in a heartbeat” if they were asked to come back as special guests for a challenge.

“We had the best experience and some of the crew have become our best friends, so if we got to go back and experience that again, yeah,” Liberty said.

“If it was just a visit, yeah,” Eliza agreed. “The two and a half hours back and forth [from Phillip Island to Melbourne’s CBD], I just think it would be too much for us. You’d be so grateful to be asked back, but we haven’t.”
