The Block judges reveal which team they think will win the most money
The trio agreed there's one house that stands out amongst the rest.
Ahead of Sunday night’s final episode, The Block judges Shaynna Blaze, Darren Palmer and Marty Fox have revealed which team they think will win the most money at this year’s auction.
Shaynna, who is the longest-serving permanent judge on the reality show, told 9Entertainment she believes Steph and Gian have the best chance of taking out the win.
“As we know the best doesn't always win, but I would be shocked if House 4 does not win,” she said.
“The quality, the sense of calm and architectural attention to detail shows Steph and Gian have created the ultimate luxury and it truly makes it one of the best houses on The Block.”

Darren also pointed out that while all five houses share similar amenities in terms of bedrooms, bathrooms and pools, House 4 has the largest land.
The property sits on a land parcel of 703m2, followed by House 5 at 632m2, House 1 at 608m2, House 2 at 594m2 and House 3 at 579m2.
“So, with dollars per square meter ratio as your metric, you can assume that House 4 will sell for more,” he said.
“That may also mean they have a higher reserve which then may not mean they sell for the highest profit… but we will only find out reserves on auction night.”
New judge Marty agreed that Houses 4 and 5 would sell for the highest amount of money because they have the largest land size.
“And they have also won the rooms that really sell houses: being Master Bedrooms and Kitchens,” he added.
“The question is, will they win The Block or will they have higher reserves, based on the larger land sizes? The largest sale price doesn't necessarily win The Block.”
Landscaper Dave Franklin also weighed in and shared that, similar to his co-stars, he believes House 4 will win season 19.
“If I had to rank them, I'd go 4, then 2, then 1… and then 5 and 3,” he said. “Of course, I am including all the gardens, and the turn-key result.”
Fans predict the winner
The judges’ predictions about who will win The Block align with which team Yahoo Lifestyle’s readers believe will come out on top.
A poll created by Yahoo Lifestyle in August, which now has over 17,600 votes, has shown that 64 per cent of readers think House 4’s Steph and Gian will breeze through with a win.
Coming in second place is House 5’s Eliza and Liberty with 21 per cent of the votes, with the sisters pouring their hearts and souls into the 5 bedroom 4.5 bathroom house.

House 1’s Kyle and Leslie received seven per cent of our readers’ votes, placing them in third place despite winning the cover of Domain Magazine during Monday night’s episode.
Coming in joint last place with four per cent of the votes each is Kristy and Brett from House 3 and Leah and Ash from House 2.
