The Block fans propose major change to the series: 'Haven’t got the nerve'
The Block viewers have a huge idea on how Nine could shake up the show.
The Block fans have proposed a major change to the show, specifically around how the judges, Darren Palmer, Shaynna Blaze, and Marty Fox, deliver feedback to the contestants. Taking to Facebook, one user wrote, "I reckon the three judges should go in every Sunday and deliver their feedback in person."
While many agreed, with one user responding, "What a great idea," others weren't so sure, with another saying, "They haven’t got the nerve to say it to their faces."

"I think the judges need to go in by themselves and critique and score without the influence of each other... Bet it would be a whole different ball game then," a third suggested, with others agreeing.
"Shaynna and Marty really do enjoy the sound of their own voices 🥱," someone else said. "I think the judges should be given 5 minutes to give feed back. Shaynna and Marty just go on and on and on."
"I think they need to replace that real estate one," another said of Marty Fox.
"Keep Darren, get rid of the other two," someone else said.
The Block viewers slam Marty Fox: 'Way too harsh'
Viewers have been very critical of Marty, with many claiming he doesn't offer constructive criticism and is "way too harsh".
"Why, oh why, do we have to put up with Marty Fox? He has nothing constructive to say!" one viewer lamented online.
"Agree. Unless everything is beige he's not happy. Such a boring man," someone replied.
"He’s just contrary! Argues against everything!" said another.
"Can’t stand him," someone else said.
"He has a lot to say and takes over the conversation, Darren seems perplexed," a different viewer said.

However, plenty of fans said they really like Marty and that he brought a good perspective to the competition.
"I'm not a huge fan, but it's better than judging rooms based on vases and towels," someone said. "I like his perspective in terms of saleability. I have always thought the judging should be based on design, build/craftsmanship and saleability."
