The Block fans slam judges over 'rubbish' move: 'Worst one yet'
The Block fans have slammed the judging of the Guest Bedrooms on Sunday night.
The Block fans have taken to social media to slam the show's judges over their 'rubbish' scoring of the Guest Bedrooms on Sunday night. Many viewers were left annoyed that Kristian and Mimi's room won and the pair didn't get penalised after Kristian forged Foreman Dan and a Nine in Six Builders representative's signature for a demo permit.
The Block fans disagree with judges' critique of guest bedrooms
Many fans believed Grant and Courtney should have won the week, with their sweet kids' room, with one fan writing on Facebook, "This is rigged! House 5 did dodgy things last week and fraudulent, they shouldn’t have won! Grant & Courtney should have won! Absolutely screwed."

Others also hated that Kristian and Mimi's headboard and the fluted wall panel behind the bed were both off-centre.
"Seriously how did this room win, the back of the head board would drive me insane," another said. "I actually thought Courtney and Grant's and Page and Jessie's was better personally. Also Brad and Kylie's was a lovely room, these judges seriously are rubbish.
"To be honest the show is the worst one yet should have stopped at 19. Kylie should have stuck to her style she can't win either way. BUT no way did K & M deserve that win, why didn't they go across the wall with the panelling it was distracting. IMHO."
Viewers believe Kristian and Mimi deserve 'bigger punishment' for forgery
"I liked the room. But they should have lost a point for cheating," a third said. "Losing an hr work time wasn't sufficient enough to deter it in the future. Forging signatures needed a bigger punishment."
"Looks terrible totally off balance including the bedside tables and crunched up the corner with those reeds... pathetic judging taking place!!" another wrote. "The show has become totally ridiculous."
"This bedroom looks absolutely garbage to me," someone else said.
"Courtney and Grant were absolutely robbed," one Instagram user said.
"This room deserved another winning room again!" another added.
"The Block is a set up," a third wrote, clearly angry that the couple didn't win this week.
"Best bedroom by far. So much character," someone else added. "You definitely deserved to win this week."
Interior designer disagrees with The Block fans about guest bedrooms
Chris Carroll from TLC Interiors provided his thoughts on Kristian and Mimi's design on his website, writing, "I agree that this is the best room of the week, but there are issues we need to discuss.
"Cohesion is the first component. Kristian and Mimi’s main bathroom last week featured large format grey tiles, bronze tapware and blue feature tiles. This bedroom bears no resemblance to that space. Rooms in a home should have what every couple on Love Is Blind is glaringly missing: a legitimate connection.
"The paneling behind the bed is not enough to unite the spaces. It’s like a random stranger on Ancestry.com who shares three per cent of your DNA and wants to connect. It’s a no thank you, twice removed half-great-uncle Rodney from Wales."
He added that the paneling felt "over-designed" and made the room feel out of balance, however, he thought that they did a good job of "thinking outside the box".
Chris' suggestion? "Although I’m not sold on the paneling, moving the pendant light to the left of the room, and ditching the pot of dead sticks would have made it feel balance and resolved," he wrote. "The room is too right-side heavy. The pendant switch wired through the headboard would have worked better also – in black to match the robe door handles."

He also didn't quite agree with fans who said Courtney and Grant should have come first, saying he doesn't like kids rooms on The Block.
"I’m just going to say it: I’m not into kids rooms on The Block. The entire premise of the show is to sell for profit. To hope your buyer has two kids under the age of 10 who like mint green arches above their bed is a choice. It makes your market narrower than rhinoplasties of the 1980s," he joked.
Chris believes the tone of green Courtney and Grant chose is "too harsh", adding that the sheer curtains don't bring the colour palette together enough, saying, "It doesn't work for me."
