Set to Echosmith’s popular song Cool Kids, the photo gallery features the 56-year-old sports reporter riding a motorcycle and waterskiing at various points in his childhood and young adulthood.
The slideshow then cuts to videos of current-day Mark dancing in the Sunrise studio, interviewing sports stars, and arriving at Alexander Stadium in Birmingham for the upcoming Commonwealth Games.
“A younger Beretts wouldn’t believe what he gets to do everyday!” the caption reads.
A number of fans took to the comments to applaud the Channel Seven presenter and celebrate his achievements.
“A long way from St Margaret’s in Geelong but yet not far,” one person wrote in reference to Mark’s primary school. “Great journey.”
“Extraordinary man,” another added, followed by someone else who said, “One of the nicest men in television”.
“And no one could do it better,” a fourth shared, while Home and Away star Georgie Parker remarked, “Beretts just living all of our dreams!”.
Meanwhile, plenty of people also left comments about Mark’s handsome appearance as a young man, including his co-star Nat Barr who wrote: “Those guns!”
“Absolute legend, so handsome,” one fan replied, with another writing, “OMG he’s really cute”.
“Sheesh,” a shocked follower commented, while a different user said, “Have not changed”.
Nat Barr's return to Sunrise
Mark’s sweet video comes shortly after Nat Barr returned to the Sunrise desk on Wednesday morning after isolating at home for a week with Covid.
The host admitted she was still feeling under the weather and joked that the lingering illness made her feel like she’s “had a couple of wines".
“I’ve got a sinus infection and I’m a bit light-headed. Apart from that, I’m great,” she laughed.
