Severance Season 2: Is Mark in Big Trouble at Lumon? — 2025 FIRST LOOK (Exclusive)
Severance’s Mark looks like he might have a bad case of the Mondays in Season 2.
TVLine’s month-long #2025FirstLook series continues today with an exclusive sneak peek at the long-awaited return of Apple TV+’s corporate thriller — which you can see below — with Adam Scott’s Mark being led down the familiar white corridors of the Lumon offices by Tramell Tillman’s Milchick. And judging by the serious look on Milchick’s face, it kind of feels like Mark is being taken to the principal’s office. Is he about to be punished for the “overtime switch” rebellion he and his colleagues pulled off at the end of last season?

If you’re having trouble remembering — it’s totally understandable; Severance last aired nearly three years ago — Scott stars as Mark, a worker drone at the mysterious Lumon corporation who has undergone a surgical procedure to separate his work memories from his personal memories… a separation that became more hazy as Season 1 unfolded. In Season 2 (premiering Friday, Jan. 17), “Mark and his friends learn the dire consequences of trifling with the severance barrier, leading them further down a path of woe,” per the official description.
Joining the Season 2 cast are Gwendoline Christie (Game of Thrones) and John Noble (Fringe), along with Alia Shawkat (Search Party), Stefano Carannante (Blue Bloods) and Bob Balaban (The Chair), who play rival macrodata refiners at Lumon.
