Rachael Gunn, AKA Raygun, may not have walked away from the Paris Olympics with a medal, but she did walk away with our hearts. And it seems as though TV networks are racing to sign her.

"The future of one of the world's most talked about Australians, Raygun, is currently being negotiated with multiple TV offers," an Australian executive producer confirms to Yahoo Lifestyle.

"Raygun is close to securing a lucrative network deal any day now which could determine which 'celebrity' reality show the notorious breakdancer will appear on, as Channel Nine, Network Ten and Channel Seven battle it out."

The insider says that all free-to-air networks are interested in signing up the kangaroo hopping dancer for potential shows in 2025, adding that Raygun is "one of the most sought-after names in the business right now".

"The TV networks don't want to share her either," the insider adds. "They are looking for 'exclusive-network-deals' that could be 12 to 24 months long. Blocking out other opportunities from competing programming."

People worldwide were fascinated by the breakdancer, with a close friend telling us, "There is also more to this 36-year-old woman than just a viral sensation. Rachael has so much more to offer."

"A number of talent agents have been circling the viral superstar ever since her memorable dance at the Paris Olympics went viral," the TV insider says. "The exact direction she will take will be revealed any day now and whichever network she signs with will be quite telling."

“There is no doubt the world wants to get to know more about her story and there is a real thirst to get her on one of these 'celebrity' reality shows. However, nothing is done yet.

"It usually comes down to dollars but maybe Raygun will be more strategic than that."

"Channel Nine could put her on The Summit? Network Ten could put her in the jungle or on Amazing Race? Even Seven could get her on Dancing with the Stars. Heck she could save SAS Australia," says a talent manager, who has cast for some of these shows. "It will depend on the network she signs with."

"If she plays this well? We could be seeing a hell of a lot more than her breakdancing," they add. "You have to strike while the iron is hot and at this stage Raygun is a bit of an enigma, and to be fair that is working in her favour."

"If it weren't for the internet blowing up all around the world because of her skill-less performance at the Olympics she'd still be the NOBODY she was before the Olympics," another said.

"OMG enough already - she’s had more than her 15mins of fame for her ridiculous performance!! How about giving more attention to all the Australian athletes that put in amazing efforts no matter what medal they won or place they came!" a third wrote.
