Zendaya and her longtime beau Tom Holland are officially engaged. The Euphoria actress showed up to the 2025 Golden Globe awards with a rather colossal rock on her ring finger, which she proudly showed off for the cameras.

Zendaya and Holland have been linked since 2016 when they began posting photos of one another on Instagram throughout the filming of Spider-Man: Homecoming. They maintain that they were just friends, despite playing onscreen love interests Peter Parker and Michelle "MJ" Jones. By 2021 they were officially dating.

Now at 28-years-old the duo is engaged to be married. Holland proposed with a roughly 6 carat cushion cut stone, according to Verstolo Fine Jewelry Vice President Lauren Grunstein.

Uniquely, the stone is set east-west, meaning it's set horizontally rather than vertically, with a two-tone bubble setting. The diamond is surrounded by white gold or platinum prongs, sitting on a yellow gold band.

The benefit to the silver-colored prongs is that they help to better reflect the light on the diamond, helping it to appear whiter in color. "The two-tone design feels timeless and on-trend, while the eight prongs give the ring a unique, slightly art deco vibe," Grunstein says.

While it comes as no surprise that Zendaya would opt for a ring that's a bit out-of-the-box, it seems like a near certainty that others will take inspiration from her design for rings of their own. "I think that in 2025, many brides-to-be will gravitate toward settings that are both safe and classic but include distinctive elements—just like this one," Grunstein predicts.

As for the cost, it feels safe to assume that Holland went with a high-quality stone for his future wife, given Celebrity Net Worth puts him at an estimated net worth of $25 million. "Assuming it’s a very high-quality stone from a traditional retail store, it could be anywhere from $300,000-$500,000," Verstolo estimates, if the diamond is naturally-grown.

If the diamond is lab-grown, you're looking at closer to $20,000, per Verstolo. Still quite a pretty penny!

Zendaya's engagement ring is rumored to have been designed by luxury jeweler Jessica McCormack, a jeweler followed by celebs like Hilary Duff, Reese Witherspoon, Gwyneth Paltrow and more.
