Harrison Ford Makes Rare Red Carpet Appearance With His Daughter
Harrison Ford looked ever the dapper actor at the 82nd Annual Golden Globes on Sunday, January 5—only this time, his wife Calista Flockhart wasn’t by his side.
In a rare occurrence, the 82-year-old actor walked the red carpet at The Beverly Hilton Hotel with his daughter, Georgia Ford, accompanying him. This was the pair’s first sighting together since 2013.
“My beautiful wife has gone to New York to do a play, so she couldn’t be here tonight—she wanted to be here but she’s in rehearsals for a play,” Harrison told ET correspondent Nischelle Turner during a red carpet interview, revealing that he was attending with his “beautiful daughter” instead. Georgia's mother is Harrison's second wife, Melissa Mathison.
For the special occasion, Harrison kept it classic with a tailored black and white tuxedo while Georgia opted for a more avant-garde black ensemble with a draped off-the-shoulder black gown accessorized with transparent black opera gloves and bold black eye makeup.
The father-daughter actor duo were in attendance to honor Harrison’s nomination for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role on Television for his role as Dr. Paul Rhoades in the AppleTV+ hit, Shrinking.
While Harrison didn’t take home the win for his performance, he’s grateful for the recognition and the experience that the role afforded him.
“I’m really grateful for what the show has brought me,” he said in the red carpet interview with ET. Currently, rumors are swirling that Season 3 will be the final installment of the series but Harrison agrees that there’s more story to tell. In the meantime, Harrison will reprise his role as Jacob Dutton when Yellowstone prequel 1923 returns on February 23.
