Zendaya Doesn't Mind Letting Tom Holland Be the "Center of Attention"

While Zendaya and Tom Holland are soaking up that newly-engaged bliss, a source close to the couple is sharing insight into their sweet relationship. The insider told People that the Zendaya is the "perfect" match for Holland.

"Zendaya is obviously so pretty, but it's truly her personality that makes her perfect for Tom," they said. "She's beyond sweet, very caring and makes you feel special."

And while Zendaya and her red carpet fashion often take center stage at award shows and appearances, she's happy to let her boyfriend have his moment, too. She is "very outgoing with a big personality," but "doesn't mind when he's the center of attention," the source added. "She sits back and lets him glow."

"Everyone is thrilled about the engagement," the insider added.

Holland also has the same attitude when it comes to letting his new fiancée shine. In a recent interview with Men’s Health, explained that he typically skips out on walking the red carpet with Zendaya “because it’s not my moment, it’s her moment, and if we go together, it’s about us.”

On Sunday night, Zendaya sparked engagement rumors after arriving on the 2025 Golden Globes red carpet with some new bling on her left ring finger. On Monday, a family source confirmed the exciting news to People. TMZ initially reported that Holland popped the question over the holidays.

A separate source told People that Holland had been wanting to propose for quite some time and has always known that Zendaya was "the one."

"He's always been crazy about her. He always knew she was the one," the source said. "They have something very special."
