Update: Zendaya and Tom Holland Actually Got *Matching* Tattoos

Update 1/8/25: According to TMZ, Zendaya and Tom Holland actually got matching tattoos ahead of their engagement. Per the outlet, the couple got their tattoos at Boston Tattoo Company in Massachusetts right before Thanksgiving. Tom has a small "Z" on his ribcage, while Zendaya has a "t" (which she showed off at the Golden Globes—see below!) on hers.

Original Story 1/6/25: Zendaya showed up at the Golden Globes last night on a mission to top the best dressed list (accomplished), and on top of kinda-sorta-maybe debuting an engagement ring (more on that in a moment), she debuted her first-ever tattoo.

The tattoo in question? What appears to be a lower-case "t" peeking out from her Louis Vuitton gown. And naturally fans are speculating that the "t" in question is a dedication to Tom Holland, with comments on Twitter like "finding out that zendaya has a tiny 't' tattoo and an engagement ring was not on my golden globes bingo card i’m so happy for my girl."

Of course, the attention most of the night was on Zendaya's left ring finger, where she wore a giant diamond that has everyone thinking she and Tom are engaged.

The couple tend to be extremely private about their relationship so chances are an engagement—if there is one—won't be officially announced, but we live in hope.

As for why Tom Holland didn't walk the Golden Globes red carpet with Zendaya, he recently explained to Men's Health that he has a policy of letting her do her own thing during premieres—so they focus stays on her and not their buzzy relationship. As he put it, “it’s not my moment, it’s her moment, and if we go together, it’s about us.”

Though, obviously the pair have been on several carpets together due to being costars. Zendaya opened up to Vanity Fair about working alongside Tom last year, saying “It’s actually strangely comfortable. It’s like second nature, if anything. You feel extra safe with the person you’re acting beside. I love working with him. He’s so talented, and so passionate about what he does. He always gives things one thousand percent, even if he’s absolutely worn down. I really appreciate that about him. It feels pretty normal. That’s how we met. Literally, at a chemistry read.”
