MAFS star reveals exciting baby update ahead of birth
Fan favourite Lizzie Sobinoff has revealed the gender of her first child.
Married At First Sight star Elizabeth 'Lizzie' Sobinoff is expecting her first child soon and she has an exciting update.
Taking to Instagram, the former MAFS contestant - who had two stints on the show, one in 2019 and one in 2020 - revealed that she's expecting a baby girl.
Lizzie uploaded a video of a pink cake, with the title 'Baby Vega' and fans were quick to flood the comments asking for confirmation about whether this was a gender reveal for the baby.
"Is it a girl? Is this your gender reveal?" one person asked.
"Yes, I’m having a girl," Lizzie replied.
"Wow, I'm confused, blue slippers and now pink cake, you're not making the guessing game easy," one person said.
"Lol, I’m not allowed to wear blue? We are having a girl," Lizzie replied.
"Huge congratulations Lizzie and Alex, I can't wait to see your gorgeous baby girl," one person commented.
Lizzie's journey to love
Lizzie was introduced to Aussie audiences during the 2019 season of MAFS and was "married" to Sam Ball in a relationship that imploded on the show after he disappeared on their honeymoon, before hooking up with another bride Ines Basic.
She had a second stint on the show in 2020, and found love with Seb Guilhaus, with the couple dating for a year before splitting at the start of 2021. Seb was recently charged after police raided his house and allegedly seized $90,000 worth of methamphetamine.

She and her partner Alexander Vega were married at the start of 2023 after meeting at the end of 2021, and Lizzie confirmed in May of this year that she was expecting her first child with Alex after speculation began over her growing baby bump.
“Looking at some of these comments in the last few posts I’ve done. Always so much focus on a woman’s body (I’ve had more than my fair share). I’m navigating my body right now, so many changes, especially internally (I’ve been pretty sick),” she said when announcing her pregnancy.
“I also understand so many people are excited. So am I! It’s an exciting time in our (my partner) lives right now. I’ll talk about my experience with it in the future. Mama bear is just nesting right now," she ended the post.

Three weeks ago, Lizzie shared a loved-up post about her husband in the lead-up to their impending birth.
"Not to get all corny and emotional or anything but I love this man so very much, with all my heart and more and I look at him and cannot wait to have our child here, AND what a beautiful, incredible, inspiring, thoughtful, selfless man," she gushed about her partner.
