The 31-year-old, who appeared on both season six and season seven of the reality show, took to Instagram on Saturday to announce the happy news.
“27.01.23 we are officially married!” she captioned a snap of a large floral bouquet. “There will be lots of pics, so apologies in advance.”
Lizzie and Alexander went public with their relationship in December 2021, although she hid his identity on social media for a few months by covering his face with emojis.
She then shared a loved-up snap on Instagram in August last year revealing that Alexander, who is a field service engineer, had proposed.
“Engaged to the love of my life,” she wrote in the caption. “My everything. I’m so UNBELIEVABLY HAPPY.”
'You deserve this'
Following Lizzie’s wedding announcement, a number of fellow MAFS stars took to the comments to send their well wishes.
“Congratulations gorgeous! Cannot wait to see the photos,” Beck Zemek wrote, followed by Liam Cooper who said, “No way, congratulations x”.
“Omg!!! Wait…what?! CONGRATULATIONS lovebirds!!!” Sarah Roza replied, while Steve Burley added, “Congratulations really happy for you both”.
Fans also flooded the comments with love, with one follower writing: “May your wedded lives together start with 'once upon a time' and end with 'happily ever after'.”
“You deserve this,” another added, while a third said, “So glad you finally found your person!”.
“Best wishes to you and the next chapter of your adventure together,” someone else remarked
Lizzie first appeared on MAFS in 2019 when she was paired with Sam Ball. After their relationship didn’t work out, she was given a second chance at love and re-entered MAFS in 2020 when she ‘married’ Seb Guilhaus.
She and Seb continued dating for a year before announcing their split in January 2021 with identical Instagram posts.
“We have mutually decided to end our relationship as boyfriend and girlfriend,” they wrote.
