MAFS' Jessika Power divides Big Brother VIP fans with major move: 'Lost the plot’

Big Brother VIP fans were shocked when Jessika Power won her first challenge during Monday night’s episode, but it was the strategic move that followed that left viewers divided.

The former Married At First Sight star chose to go against her all-female alliance with Ellie Gonsalves and Imogen Anthony, who have been solid since day one, and nominate Ellie up for eviction.

“Ellie lately has made me feel on edge and I feel that she plays the boys and the girls against each other in the house,” she said about the model when making her decision in the diary room.

“But on the other hand, I feel bad because we do have this girls alliance. My gut is saying to vote for Ellie.”

Viewers online couldn’t believe Jessika’s decision, with many calling it a “risky” move taking aim at this season’s biggest game player.

“I think Jess has lost the plot,” one person wrote, while another said, “Jess was very stupid for that”.

“Seriously, Jessika put Ellie up because she saw her talking to Dayne and thought she was betraying the girls when she was in fact trying to protect them three… It doesn’t get any more ridiculous,” someone else added.

“Jess has no strategy she is just so bloody jealous of Ellie and so good at pretending she is dumb,” a fourth shared, to which someone replied: “Ellie was playing them all though? That’s not Jess being jealous, that’s her striking whilst the iron is hot”.

Meanwhile, a number of fans applauded her decision to play strategically and provide some entertaining TV.

“I'm not crazy about Jess but I feel like they thought she was too dumb to play the game and now they’re mad. Get over it,” a user commented.

“I had no idea who Jessika was before but I’m obsessed with her, she’s hilarious,” another replied.

Things got even more awkward when the nominations were eventually announced, with Jessika curling up into a ball on the couch and declaring, “I have a valid reason for everyone, I promise”.

Each of her fellow housemates were clearly taken aback when the 30-year-old’s big move was revealed, with Ellie particularly upset at being blindsided.

“Why did you put me up? I would never have put you and Imogen up,” she said when confronting Jessika. “It puts a massive f**king target on my back.”

“I thought you were a safe vote,” Jessika replied. “I thought we were all voting for Dayne [Beams].”

In a shock double elimination, Ellie and Dayne were both sent packing. However, their time in the Hotel isn’t over yet and they will have an opportunity to get back in the game.
