MAFS' Jade looks unrecognisable in resurfaced modelling photos
The reality star began modelling when she was around 16 years old.
Married At First Sight intruder Jade Pywell’s old modelling photos have resurfaced on social media which show the South African-born bride looking barely recognisable.
Before appearing on reality TV, Jade worked as a model and launched a profile on the casting website ‘Model Mayhem’ when she was 16 years old.
The ‘about me’ section on her profile reads: “Hi, my name is Jade. I am fairly new to modelling and have only done a few shoots so far, but I am really enthusiastic and love posing in front of the camera.
“I am 16yo, so I will not consider nude, topless or see-through modelling, so please don't ask or request. I am a size 8 to 10, depending on the make. My hair colour changes a fair bit, from brown to blonde, to black, currently it's brown. I have a nose ring which can be removed if required.“

It appears Jade was active on the website from December 2012 to July 2013, during which she uploaded 15 photos for her portfolio.
One photoshoot from almost twelve years ago features Jade sporting bleached blonde hair as she poses in various outfits and bikinis at Shelley Beach in Manly. Other images show Jade with light brown hair as she participates in both studio and nature shoots.
A gallery of Jade’s throwback snaps was shared to Instagram on Thursday, with MAFS fans quickly taking to the comments to share their surprise at how different she looks.
“Christ on a bicycle! She looks like Bec Cartright from back in the day when on Home and Away!” one person wrote, while another added, “I thought the same!”.
“DEEEEECCCCEEEEEE,” someone else shared, poking fun at Jade’s partner Ridge Barredo’s cringeworthy catchphrase.
Are Jade and Ridge still together?
Jade and Ridge have been going from strength to strength in this year’s experiment, and it’s been reported that they are still together today.
Not only do they currently follow each other on Instagram - something which a majority of their co-stars noticeably don’t do - but they also celebrated New Year’s Eve together.
One photo obtained by Yahoo Lifestyle shows Ridge leaning in to kiss Jade while standing on a balcony together.

It appears the couple also recently enjoyed a holiday to Bali together after they both documented the trip on their personal Instagram accounts.
Jade posted a photo of Ridge shoving his tongue in her mouth last month alongside the caption: “Married life takes first international holiday”.
Meanwhile, Ridge adopted a corgi named Rufus in December and started an Instagram account for his new pet - which is also followed by Jade.
