MAFS' Sara barely recognisable in throwback snaps: 'So different'

Resurfaced photos of Married At First Sight's Sara Mesa show that the Colombian-born bride has undergone quite a transformation in recent years.

While the 29-year-old nutritionist currently rocks a blonde lob on the reality show, her Instagram profile highlights that she’s tried out a variety of hairstyles and colours in the past.

Snaps from 2017 feature Sara with long dark brown hair, making her look barely recognisable to her time on TV.

“Channeling my inner señorita,” she captioned a photo of herself in Sydney wearing an off-the-shoulder black dress and large hoop earrings.

She continued to change up her look in 2019 when she lightened her locks and got bangs shortly before travelling to Italy.

After a handful of Sara’s throwback snaps were shared in a Facebook group, MAFS fans quickly took to the comments to point out how different she looks.

“Omg WHAT! I barely recognised her,” one person wrote, while another agreed, “I also didn’t recognise her!”.

“Gorgeous! She looks great with both hair colours,” a third shared.

“She looks so different now,” someone else remarked, followed by a different user who said, “Dark hair suits her better”.

“Gorgeous girl naturally,” one fan replied.

Sara's racy snaps

Sara’s Instagram also features plenty of racy snaps, including photos of her in a bikini and going topless at the beach.

“New city so I freed the titties,” she wrote alongside a photo of herself sitting on the sand in Byron Bay.

The outspoken bride has definitely made her mark on MAFS this year, with fans describing herself, Lauren Dunn and Timothy Smith as “this season’s gossip girls”.

She’s also caused plenty of controversy during the experiment, especially after she was exposed for contacting her ex-boyfriend behind her partner Tim Calwell’s back during Wednesday night’s dinner party.
