MAFS' Harrison slammed for 'dog' act at dinner party: 'Disgusting'

The Married at First Sight star was exposed telling at lie during Wednesday night's episode.

Married At First Sight groom Harrison Boon has been savaged online after he was exposed telling a lie at Wednesday night's dinner party.

The 32-year-old builder has caused controversy since his first episode on the show after it was revealed at his wedding he had been dating 21-year-old Bachelor star Abby Miller right up until he started filming the show.

He has been paired with 28-year-old Bronte Schofield and after a lot of conflict between the pair, they seemed to resolve their issues during intimacy week.

When the couples all met for the dinner party a bombshell emerged after Janelle Han overheard Harrison telling her husband Adam Seed that fellow contestant Dan Hunjas got a girl's number on a night out.

A shocked Janelle consulted with another couple about whether or not she should tell Dan's 'bride' Sandy Jawanda when Harrison got wind of the conversation.

He told the couples to leave it alone and that he would speak to Dan, but during that conversation, it emerged that Harrison was the one who actually took the number with a confused Dan telling Harrison he never took the number during the night out.

Harrison threw Dan under the bus by allowing the other couples to think it was Dan who took the number, not admitting to them it was actually him.

"So we were at a bar, some girls came up to Dan and I and the comment one of the girls made was, 'You're hot, can I get your number', and I said, 'Oh, I can't give you my number, I'll take yours'," he admitted to producers.

"I got it, I literally deleted it as she walked off."

MAFS viewers slam Harrison

Later in the episode, Harrison came clean to Bronte, who didn't take issue with the situation, however, Sandy stormed out of the dinner party when Dan told her about the rumours it was him who had taken the girl's number.

Bride Claire Nomarhas then confronted Harrison before he defended himself and said he did nothing wrong.

Viewers were not impressed with Harrison's behaviour and the fact he tried to let Dan take the fall for his actions.

"It is actually unreal how much of a f**king dog Harrison is. He was *so* sure he was in the clear with this lie about Dan getting a girl's number," one wrote on Twitter.

"The way you totally implicated Dan in your f**k up and then lied to everyone about it and by doing so, [messing] with Dan and Sandy’s relationship … you are absolutely DISGUSTING," another slammed the star.

"Wait a minute, Harrison got the girl’s number but he’s gonna let Dan be the fall guy so Sandy thinks Dan got a girl’s number. What a monster," a third added.

Coming to Harrison's defence, Bronte said her groom was a good-looking man and it was not surprising girls would be approaching him to ask for his number.
