A new season of Love Is Blind is just around the corner, and you know what that means ... all-new controversies to obsess over!

Seasons past of Netflix's reality dating series have brought us so many shocking moments, from a dog drinking wine to drunk sleep test sexting (what a whirlwind the last five years have been). And season 8 promises to deliver even more dramatic moments from a cast of singles from Minnesota looking to get engaged sight unseen, because a new trailer just revealed the first controversies of the season ... and there's a lot to unpack.

A woman is heard in voiceover explaining that she believes her fiancé actually knew what she looked like while they were dating in the pods — which ruins the entire point of this whole experiment. "When the doors opened and I saw him, I thought, 'He's so familiar to me,'" she says. "I believe he knew exactly what I looked like the entire time we were talking through the wall."

Then one of the guys tells a woman during their pod date that her age (30 years old) makes her less desirable (nice!). "So you're no longer attractive," he tells her. So much for that "Minnesota nice" charm.

There's also teases of more pod love triangles (of course), social media exposés, lies, and exes potentially still being in the picture (and living in the same building). There are sweet reveals like one guy talking about his blind sibling who falls in love with people without ever seeing what they look like, and he wants to be a little more like that. There's romantic dates, but also fights about real issues like getting a prenup ... yeah, told you there was a lot.
