Kmart shoppers rave about 'expensive looking' $14 glassware set: 'They are perfect'

Kmart has cemented itself as the go-to place for almost anything your heart could possibly desire - from affordable dupes of expensive skincare and fashion items to handy items that can help you nail those 'life hacks'. The retailer has become so popular during the cost of living crisis that several fan groups are dedicated to the bargains shoppers find and how they incorporate them into everyday life.

Taking to one such forum recently, one shopper shared a photo of a chic tumbler she had bought from Kmart, gushing about how happy she was with her purchase.

"Not a hack, but can I just send out an appreciation post!," the happy shopper wrote. "Thanks Kmart, made my Sunday with these Fab tumblers! Solid and pretty to boot." She also shared a photo of the glass in question; we have to say it is indeed very pretty!

The post was met with several comments from other people who were fans of the Bond Tumblers - which sell for just $14 for a box of 6.

"These are great aren't they," one person replied. "I have the highball version too and they are excellent as well."

"We love ours too," another person added.

"I've been eyeing these ones for my new house," someone else wrote.

One person shared a photo of their own Sunday arvo refreshment in the same glassware writing, "Cheers..I love mine too xx."

'Exceeded my expectation'

Over on the Kmart website, the Bond Tumblers have a fantastic 4.9 star rating as shoppers have flooded the site with compliments about the gorgeous glasses.

"Better quality than I expected," one person said. "Perfect size for any drink (especially my g and t)."

"I absolutely LOVE these glasses. They are a great weight and look expensive," echoed another shopper. "Great for evening drinks including Gin and Tonics."

"Exceeded my expectation considering the price of the items," said another. "It was thick, high quality and doesn’t looked cheap. Very happy with purchase hence I bought another box when the store opened."

Added another, "I love these glasses. Beautiful but robust. I love that I can have nice coordinated glasses at an affordable price that won't shatter the first time they're dropped."

Other shoppers marvelled at how expensive the glasses looked considering their affordable price point while several others raved about how 'beautiful' the tumblers were.

At $14 for 6, the Bond Tumblers are certainly a steal. An almost identical set of glasses from Maxwell and Williams are four times the price at $59.95 for 6 - despite boasting many of the same features as the Kmart version such as being made from soda lime glass and being dishwasher safe.
