"Hubby has Secret Santa at work and he has got a young lady in her early 20s that has been with the company for only 2 weeks," one customer wrote to her fellow Kmart fans on Facebook. "Any ideas please? Limit is $30 - rules are no make-up, candles, gift cards, chocolates or alcohol."
Kmart shoppers' Kris Kringle idea
Among the hundreds of helpful comments, several people suggested a gift that is not only cute, but very practical as well. And better yet, it's only around $12 - $14!
"A nice drink bottle I love the Kmart ones that look like Stanleys," one person replied. "Could put some candy canes inside it or some nice pens etc?"
"I just bought this for myself and I LOVE it," another replied.
"Kmart have a Stanley dupe and other cup duo for $25," yet another added.
"Best idea ever," someone raved.
"Could possibly get her name engraved on one to make it more personal," someone else suggested.
Can you engrave the Kmart Stanley dupes?
This very question came up in a different Facebook group, with a mum asking if she would be able to engrave the cups for her daughters.
"You can make a template with vinyl and use paint stripper. To give an engraved look," one person suggested.
"Make a stencil with your Cricut and use a paint stripper," another said.
"So I got the Xmas Kmart Stanley and coffee cup set and got them engraved no problem," another said.
