Kmart's $16 Christmas gift for the Taylor Swift fan in your life: 'Perfect'

From her massive Australian tour in February to the release of her eleventh studio album in April, 2024 has definitely been a huge year for Taylor Swift and her Aussie fans. Over the past 12 months, Swifties across the country have been making friendship bracelets, wearing Eras Tour merch, and buying vinyls to add to their record collection - which has made it extremely hard for others to buy them a Taylor Swift-themed gift this Christmas.

Thankfully, Kmart has come to the rescue and released a “must-have” product for the Swiftie in your life for just $16. Shake It Up is a book of cocktails inspired by the megastar’s music featuring 65 recipes and stunning illustrations, as well as tips for starting a home bar.

Some of the Taylor-inspired recipes include The Last Great American Daiquiri, Fizz The Damn Season, ME!jito, Bitter Than Revenge, Be-Gin Again and Lemon Drop on My Guitar.

“Turn your favourite Taylor Swift songs into delicious cocktails with this collection of Swiftie-inspired recipes.”

$50 bundle idea for Secret Santa

TikTok creator Tegan Jean (@its_tegan_jean) recently shared a video showing how she would create a $50 gift bundle for a Taylor Swift fan including the cocktail book.

“If you have a Swiftie friend that loves cocktails, I think I’ve found the perfect gift idea at Kmart,” she began.

“I would buy this Shake It Up cocktail recipe book which is just $16, and then pair it with this cocktail shaker set. And if you want to want something a little extra, these Swirl Pop Martini Glasses would complete the gift perfectly.”

The cocktail shaker set includes a 520ml cocktail shaker, jigger, strainer and mixing spoon for $14, while the swirl pop martini glasses are available for $20.

'I need this'

Social media users quickly took to the comments to praise the “super cute idea”, with one person writing: “I love this!”

“OK but actually I need this!” another added, while someone else replied, “Such a good idea”.

“I don't drink alcohol a lot, but I need that book to adapt to mocktails,” a different user shared.

If you’re on the hunt for other Taylor Swift-themed Christmas gifts on a budget, Kmart sells an unofficial Taylor Swift Christmas colouring book for just $12. The paperback book includes over 120 designs to choose from and could make the perfect bundle with Kmart’s 36-pack of colour pencils for $3.50.

The retail store also sells a Taylor Swift sticker mosaic art book for $15, a Taylor Swift paper doll book for $12, and the official Taylor Swift 2025 16-month calendar for $16.
