Khloé Kardashian Dishes on 'Dream' 'Khloé in Wonder Land' Podcast Guest: 'She's So Fascinating' (Exclusive)
Khloé Kardashian is dishing all about her new "Khloé in Wonder Land" podcast.
The Kardashians star, 40, opened up about her "dream" guest during an exclusive interview with Parade, sharing why it would be a pinch-me moment to sit down with one of the most interesting women in the industry.
"I'm a big fan of Dolly Parton, so I would love to have [her]," Kardashian tells Parade. "Not just because I know she's so fascinating—[it's] her story, her life and career. I mean, it's phenomenal what she's done."
While the 10-time Grammy Award winner is at the top of her list, the Good American co-founder jokes that she'd only have her sisters Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian on as guests under certain conditions.
"I'm like, 'What are they going to give me?'" she tells Parade with a laugh. "I know that people [would] probably die to have them on, but I'm like, 'What's different that you're going to give me?' North was like, 'You got to do one with the trio,' Kourt, Kim and me. She was saying an iconic trio. And I was like, okay. But I would want us to—let's do something that's fun and silly or play a drinking game or something, sort of the old-school sister moments. So I hopefully would have some loved ones [on the podcast] if it's in a unique way."
Khloé goes on to tell Parade that it was her "vast range of curiosities" that inspired her to start "Khloé in Wonder Land," which premiered in January and has already made its way to the top of the charts.
"It doesn't fit into one category, and I want you to go down the rabbit hole with me," she says, noting that she has an eclectic group of guests lined up for forthcoming episodes. "I have a bunch of my girlfriends and we're getting drunk for Valentine's Day, and I'm interviewing this UFO-ologist later this month. It's literally all very random things, but that's how my brain works. One day I'm fascinated about one thing and another [the next]."
Some of the guests that helped Khloé kick off her podcast include Scott Disick, Jay Shetty, Let Them Theory author Mel Robbins and more. The reality star tells Parade, however, that being the one to "steer the ship" during an interview is a learning process that is "intimidating," but ultimately rewarding.
"Really, at [this] stage in my life, I turned 40 this past June and I wanted to really push myself and do things," she explains. "And like you said, I've done hosting before. I don't know why this was so nerve-wracking to me. I think I lost a lot of my confidence over the past few years. And so I just really wanted to push myself and do something that I know I can do. But I was nervous to do it."
The episodes premiere exclusively on X on Wednesdays for 24 hours before hitting all other podcast platforms, including YouTube, on Thursdays. Khloé tells Parade that it was an easy decision to partner with X because of the "freedom to do" what she wanted on the platform.
"They really trusted me and let me do any format that I wanted, and that was really exciting for me," she says.
As for what she sees for her podcast in the future, Khloé tells Parade that as of now, the sky's the limit.
"I love that it just evolves with you," she says. "So I don't know, but I do hope that it continues to be really successful."
New episodes of "Khloé in Wonder Land" hit X every Wednesday, and can be streamed on all other platforms the following day.
