Julia Fox Debuts Silver Haircut That She ‘Immediately Regretted’ at ‘Presence’ Premiere in ’90s-inspired Top and Tuxedo Cape
Julia Fox‘s newest haircut made its red carpet debut on Thursday during the premiere of “Presence” in New York. The actress attended the event two days after sharing her hair style transformation on TikTok, telling fans she “immediately regretted” the decision to chop off several inches of her hair. Her followers, however, approved the new look, comparing the actress with David Bowie.
To show off her new look, Fox channeled ’90s menswear fashion in a colorful floral-print shirt with pointy lapels paired with a black tuxedo cape, matching baggy pants and chunky brown leather loafers.

For accessories, Fox kept it simple, wearing only a gold pendant necklace. Beauty-wise, the actress sported neutral makeup, with her eyebrows matching the silver color of her hair.
Mixing colorful, vibrant shirts with black blazers seems to be a new red carpet trend for this season. Originally a fashion trend from the ’90s, the style has been recently worn by Timotheé Chalamet during the “A Complete Unknown” premiere in London on Monday. The actor paired a classic tailored look with a whimsical Martine Rose shirt.
Fox, who is known for always pushing boundaries with her sartorial sense of style, previously talked with WWD about her relationship with fashion. “In the fashion world, it’s all about wearing the big European design houses,” she said. “I’m just not really about that life. That doesn’t excite me, and it doesn’t make me feel good.”
“Presence” is a highly anticipated film featuring Lucy Liu, Callina Liang, Chris Sullivan and more. The Steven Soderbergh-directed film will be available in theaters on Jan. 24.
