Spoilers: Home and Away's Cash held at gunpoint: 'Final showdown'
The action is ramping up on Australia's most popular soap opera.
Home and Away viewers have been lapping up the action since it returned to Aussie screens two weeks ago, and new promos have teased an explosive end to the bikie gang storyline. Last year, Summer Bay was rocked when a group of bikies, including Tex Wheeler (Lucas Linehan), came knocking to collect stolen money from the Parata family.
That storyline was seemingly wrapped up after Cash Newman (Nicholas Cartwright) and Rose Delaney (Kirsty Marillier) stormed Tex’s headquarters in a dangerous raid. While none of the main characters lost their lives, Cash killed the gang’s leader Marty in a terrifying shootout and Tex was sent to prison.
In Home and Away’s return for 2023, fans were horrified when Felicity Newman (Jacqui Purvis), Eden Fowler (Stephanie Panozzo), Justin Morgan (James Stewart) and Leah Patterson (Ada Nicodemou) collided in a fiery car crash.
Although Cash initially blamed Justin for installing faulty brakes in the Newmans’ ute, his anger turned to shock when he found out Tex and the bikies had ‘put a hit out on him’.
In the newest sneak peek for this week’s episodes, Cash has declared revenge on the gang, and tells an unconscious Eden that he’s planning to “make them pay for what they’ve done”.

Knowing that he may not come out of his brawl with the bikies alive, he utters a heartbreaking secret to Eden in hospital.
“Just in case it doesn’t go my way, I wanted to tell you how much you mean to me. It’s time for me to do this,” he tells her.
In the upcoming episodes, Tex somehow escapes prison and drags Cash to a secluded country location. It doesn’t look good, with the bikie gang outnumbering him.
“Take a look around,” Tex says, as Cash is forced onto his knees. “It’s the last thing you’ll ever see”.
There is some hope for Cash, as Tane Parata (Ethan Browne) is seen hiding behind a vehicle, ready to take the gang by surprise. A group of armed police officers also storm what looks to be the gang’s property — but will they make it in time?
Ziggy and Dean face ‘tough challenge’ after becoming parents
Fans will be overjoyed to hear that Dean Thompson’s (Patrick O’Connor) mother Karen (Georgia Adamson) is coming back, although a heavily pregnant Ziggy Astoni (Sophie Dillman) isn’t too excited about the idea.
After a frantic labour, Ziggy and Dean finally welcome their new baby to the world. However, they are not out of the woods just yet. The network teases that their happiness is only “short-lived”, with the parents about to face “their toughest challenge yet”.
Will they get their happy ending, or is something sinister around the corner?
Mackenzie opens herself up to love
Mackenzie Booth (Emily Weir) has been extremely unlucky when it comes to relationships. She was smitten with Ari Parata (Rob Kipa-Williams), who ended up leaving her for Mia Anderson (Anna Samson), and Dr Logan Bennett (Harley Bonner) was driven away by her illegal casino ring.
