“Hannah Montana” Alums Emily Osment and Moisés Aries Have Sweet Reunion During L.A. Outing
The 'Georgie and Mandy's First Wedding' star also reunited with fellow Disney Channel alums Aly & AJ Michalka at the event at Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood
There's nothing like a Hannah Montana reunion to close out 2024!
On Thursday, Dec. 12 Emily Osment and Moisés Arias posed for a sweet photo together at the 2nd annual SAG Awards Season Celebration at the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood.
In the photo, Osment, 32, put her arm around Arias, 30, and they both smiled for the camera at the starry event.
Both Osment and Arias starred on the hit Disney channel series from 2006 to 2011, with Osment playing Miley Cyrus' BFF Lily while Arias played Rico, the scheming friend who ran the convenience store on the beach where Jackson (Jason Earles) worked.
The adorable Hannah Montana moment wasn't the only fun Disney reunion to take place at the event as Osment also spent time with Aly & AJ, sister musicians who also rose to fame on Disney.
Aly Michalka, AJ Michalka and Osment posed in a photo booth at the event alongside celebrity stylist Amanda Lim, and Aly, 35, AJ, 33, and Osment all reposted the photo to their respective Instagram Stories.
The crossover between Osment and Aly & AJ comes after they revealed in 2022 that they almost took the roles that launched Cyrus and Osment's careers.
"Gary Marsh originally offered the role of Hannah Montana to Aly and I was offered the role of Lily Truscott," AJ wrote in a tweet after the show's casting director Lisa London claimed that Taylor Momsen and Daniella Monet had both been in the running alongside Cyrus.
Earlier this year, Cyrus, 32, was named a Disney Legend at D23 in appreciation of her years as an iconic actress and singer, and she dedicated the award to her original role, Hannah Montana.
“This award is dedicated to Hannah Montana and all of her fans. You’ve shown me legendary love & loyalty. Forever grateful," she wrote in a post on Instagram after the induction ceremony in August.
She made an emotional speech at the ceremony, tearing up as she said, "A little bit of everything has changed, ... but at the same time, nothing has changed at all. I stand here still proud to have been Hannah Montana."
"In so many ways, his award is dedicated to Hannah and all of her amazing loyal fans, and to everyone who has made my dream a reality. To quote the legend herself, 'This is the life.'"

The reunion for Osment and Arias comes after they have both had big years, with Osment closing out her run on Young Sheldon and heading right into the spinoff about her and Montana Jordan's characters, Mandy and Georgie, which she told PEOPLE she was "excited" to start working on this summer.
Arias, meanwhile, returned to TV with a role in Fallout. He played Norm MacLean, the son of Overseer Hank, who was played by Kyle MacLachlan, and sister to protagonist Lucy MacLean, played by Ella Purnell.
