Andie MacDowell is getting candid about working out and aging.

The Four Weddings and a Funeral actress, 66, revealed that she turned to physical therapy after she was diagnosed with piriformis syndrome during her Thursday visit to The Drew Barrymore Show.

"It's a muscle that kind of clamps down on my sciatic nerve, and it was shooting down my leg," she told host Drew Barrymore. "I thought I was going to have to have a hip replacement, thank God, my hips are fine."

According to Harvard Health, piriformis syndrome "develops due to irritation or compression of the sciatic nerve near the piriformis muscle." The condition is more common in women.

Previously, MacDowell said she was doing Peloton workouts "like a crazy person," leaving her with bad knees and hips. "I thought I was literally falling apart like I was going to have to get new pieces. But the good news is my pieces are fine, my knees are good. Except for like aging.”

She realized that the workouts were "not appropriate" for her body. Now, MacDowell works out the bottom of her hips every day. "It doesn’t hurt anymore, it’s a miracle, it really is."

MacDowell, the mother of The Substance actress Margaret Qualley, also reminisced with Barrymore about their time working together on the 1994 western film Bad Girls.

“I was 16. I was such a dumbass,” said Barrymore, to which MacDowell replied, "You were so beautiful and so good."

MacDowell, who currently stars on the Hallmark show The Way Home, also stopped by The Tonight Show on Thursday night, where host Jimmy Fallon brought up the actress' 1993 hit comedy, Groundhog Day, since the titular holiday is coming up on Feb. 2.

The actress recalled working with Bill Murray on the film that sees a weatherman repeat the same day over and over again while falling in love with his producer. During filming one day, Murray left the set in a car — with MacDowell in it.

"We were in the car, we had the walkie in the car and I don't remember what scene we were doing, and he just drove off," she told Fallon.

"I say, 'What are we doing, Bill?' and he goes, 'We're going to go for a drive.' I was so anxious!" Eventually, he drove back to the set.

"Bill is fun, but he's crazy," she said.
