Kristin Davis From "Sex And The City" Opened Up About A Famous Actor Who Once Ghosted Her After Borrowing $5,000

You know that episode of Sex and the City where Berger ditches Carrie with a Post-It note? Well, it sounds like Kristin Davis had a similar experience — except there was no letter, and the person ran off with $5,000.

Kristin recalled being ghosted by the now-famous actor on a recent episode of her podcast, Are You a Charlotte?

The revelation came when she was talking to SATC guest star Sarah Wynter about an early episode on ghosting. "I did one time date this out-of-work actor," Kristin shared, noting that it took place between Melrose Place (1995–1996) and Sex and the City (1998–2004). "He's now very successful. He was very talented."

"But at the time, I had money because I'd been working," Kristin explained, "and I was at his house, and he had all of these, like, 'your electricity's gonna be turned off,' like all those notices that you get when you can't pay your bills. They were all just all over his house, right? And I was like, uh, you know, what's happening? And then, I think, he wrecked his motorcycle, which is, like, how he got around town to his auditions. And I was like, you know, 'Can I lend you some money?'"

Kristin said it was a "horrible mistake" — because after she gave him the money, he "stopped calling."

While she didn't say names, she said the actor is now "married with some children" and resides in the country.

"You live and you learn," Sarah said. Kristin agreed, and she also warned, "Anyone listening do not loan anyone money that you are dating. Do not do it. It doesn't end well."
