Di Petsa Explores Tenderness and Fluidity in "WET BRIDES ACT 2"

Di Petsa previewed its Pre-Spring/Summer 2025 collection at London Fashion Week Men's, debuting its first-ever exploration into menswear. Dubbed "WET BRIDES ACT 2 -- EROS IN PAIN," the collection landed in the form of a narrative photo project and fashion film.

Featuring bridalwear, swimwear and its newly launched men's collection, the new release looked to envision what menswear could look like within the lens of Di Petsa, exploring themes of tenderness and fluidity, alongside the "tensions between strength and fragility."

Captured in a photography project lensed by Louisa Vradi, the imagery aims to challenge traditional gender roles, drawing inspiration from wedding rituals whilst subverting conventional bridal poses and garments. Telling a story of "transformative love and desire," the project looks to address our complex emotions.

Acting as a teaser for a wider menswear collection in September, the first capsule collection of 20 looks features draping fabrics, gender-defying silhouettes and all-white hues across swim, bridal and men's. Comprising silky dinner dresses, form-enhancing cutouts and drapery, the apparel collection is accessorized by gold jewelry chains, hand-carved shell pendants and healing moonstone crystals.

Standout pieces include the "Wetlook" offering, which reimagines Di Petsa's signature hand-draped technique for the male form, resulting in a two-piece trouser set. Elsewhere, the offering includes the Venus Wetlook gown and gender-fluid swimwear, featuring Wetlook bikini sets, swimsuits and briefs.
