The Conners to Return for ‘Six-Episode Farewell Event’ in March 2025 — Here’s Everything We Know About Season 7
The Conners’ farewell run will commence this spring and bring the Roseanne franchise’s 17-season haul to a close.
ABC announced Monday (along with its midseason schedule) that Season 7 of The Conners will premiere in March 2025 — a full 10 months after the sitcom’s Season 6 finale — and consist of six episodes.

The abbreviated order will cap The Conners’ run at 112 episodes. Perhaps even more remarkable: Including Roseanne Season 10, the revival will have aired eight seasons total — just one season shy of Roseanne’s original nine-season run.
Combined, Roseanne and The Conners will have produced a whopping 343 episodes.
The Conners: 5 MIA Roseanne Characters’ Absences Explained
“We carry the weight of the Roseanne legacy. It’s a big, big deal,” executive producer Bruce Helford told TVLine last spring, on the heels of ABC’s final-season order. “I can promise you this: They will never win the lottery, and they will never be rich.”
Added fellow EP Dave Caplan: “The whole time that we’ve been doing The Conners, we’ve never stopped feeling the pressure of the legacy of the entire run. We owe it to these characters because they’re the same characters. That is at the forefront of our minds with all of the stories that we’ve broken for The Conners, and it will be on our minds for the last six.”
As for what they have planned, Helford said that they didn’t want to “give anything away, but there are no shortage of surprises in the Conners’ lives…. I think that there is much to happen that is not expected. I mean, we’ve got Bev out there, basically hopping trains and stealing pies off of windowsills. There are a lot of things that are in play, that are in motion, and a lot of things that will come in that aren’t in motion yet.”
Could that include the returns of fan-favorite characters, like Johnny Galecki’s David? “The door is always open to Johnny,” Helford said — and the same goes for legacy cast member Michael Fishman, aka DJ, who was last seen in Season 4. “Anything is possible.”
