Just days after calling it quits with Bachelor Matt Agnew, newly-single Chelsie McLeod has taken to Instagram to share a cryptic message that appears to allude to ‘bad’ times with her former beau.

On Thursday, the chemical engineer posted a photo of herself along with fellow contestants Nichole Wood, Sogand Mohtat and Helena Sauzier after a skydiving session on the reality TV show.

The blonde beauty captioned the smiley snap, “Take the good with the bad,” which seems to suggest that her Bachelor experience was mixed.

Chelsie’s ‘good and bad’

In light of Chelsie’s recent split with astrophysicist Matt, ‘the bad’ could be seen as a reference to that, while ‘the good’ may refer to the friendships she formed on the show.

Several of Chelsie’s co-stars have shared heartwarming messages of support and love in the comments section.

“Exactly beautiful! We love you. You’re a ray of sunshine & you deserve the bloody world. xxxx,” country nurse Elly Miles wrote.

Irish born Emma Roche appeared to agree with Chelsie’s sentiment, writing, “Very well said my love”.

Jessica Brody, who was sent home earlier on in the season, added, “So grateful for you in my life”.

A ‘snide’ comment

Fans, too, have voiced mixed opinions on Chelsie’s message, with some chastising her for being ‘snide’.

“Ouch! THE BURN,” wrote one.

“Don’t get snide you're better than that (& him),” cautioned another.

Others echoed Elly, Emma and Jessica’s words, encouraging Chelsie to stay strong and move on.

“I pray that you find happiness. You deserve it,” wrote one.

“You are too good for him anyway. The reason why I follow you and not him. Chin up, this too will pass,” said another.

“So many amazing girls it seems went into that house. So glad you got to at least come away with great friends,” commented one.

“You deserve better. He was a bit of a narc,” said another.

Another of Chelsie’s fellow bachelorettes, Rachael Arahill, weighed in when a fan wondered why the pair had called time on their partnership. According to Daily Mail, Rachael responded cryptically with ‘so does Chelsie,’ which could imply that the split came as a surprise to the chemical engineer.

Chelsie and Matt call it quits

The Bachie pair declared their love for one another in the seasonal finale that aired back in September, however it turns out it wasn’t to be, with Chelsie and Matt announcing their split just a short six weeks later.

“Our relationship hasn't translated from filming to the real, every day world as we had hoped,” Matt told his Instagram followers on Sunday afternoon.

The couple’s relationship - which was kept secret for several months prior to the finale - was dogged by scandal and breakup rumours right from the get-go, namely speculation that Matt pulled a ‘Blake Garvey’ by ditching his first choice, Chelsie, for runner-up Abbie Chatfield.

When Matt and Chelsie actually broke up, Abbie was forced to defend herself against suggestion that she was involved.

“My contact with Matt ended when I walked away from him at finale and I am good friends with Chelsie and love her very much,” she wrote on Instagram.

Bachelorette Angie Kent, who recently chose Carlin Sterritt as her ‘perfect guy,’ also spoke out on the pair’s split, calling the transition from the show to real-life ‘hardcore’.
