While fans debate the accuracy of their Spotify Wrapped results and parents come to terms with the fact that their musical tastes were actually dominated by their kids, Chappell Roan is taking delight in her end-of-year roundup — by revealing her top song was an unexpected throwback.

The breakout star's "top song was barracuda ofc," Roan, 26, wrote on Instagram on Wednesday, Dec. 4, referring to the Heart's 1977 hit single.

The caption was posted alongside an "insane" throwback photo of her standing next to a car covered in camouflage decals with bull horns mounted on the front grille — which somehow felt fitting given the original imagery released alongside "Barracuda," which Roan has previously covered live.

In addition to the Ann and Nancy Wilson banger, Roan also shared her top artists of the year are Ariana Grande at No. 1, followed by Charli xcx, Heart, Justice and Kacey Musgraves.

Roan wasn't the only artist to share some unexpected Wrapped results. Lil Nas X revealed his "He Knows" duet partner Camila Cabello was his No. 1 artist of 2024, while Tove Lo posted a remix of her "My Oh My" collaborator Kyle Minogue's 2003 hit single, "Slow," was her top played song of the year.

According to Spotify, the single was the sixth most-streamed song in the country and the fifth most-viral song globally in 2024.
