Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck just settled their divorce, and apparently J.Lo is beyond relieved. A source tells People that "The fairy tale she was promised turned out to be a nightmare in the end," and that "She's in a really good place and just wants to close the door on this crazy chapter." Fair enough!
That said, the former couple are still spending time together due to their kids being close. In fact, they were spotted hanging out just a few days ago on January 5, and an insider explained that "The kids love spending time together. Ben and Jennifer always do everything for the kids to be happy. The kids don't drive, so Ben and Jennifer will continue to facilitate meetups. They are not getting back together. Ben was with his kids for Christmas and Jennifer with hers. They all had a great holiday break."
In case you missed the specifics of their divorce settlement, TMZ reports that they're each walking away "with what they individually acquired during the marriage" and that neither will pay spousal support. The details surrounding their $61 million mansion are confidential, but Ben gets to "keep his stake" in his production company, Artists Equity, while J.Lo is "keeping her own major projects" from the time they were married. J.Lo is also officially dropping the last name Affleck once and for all, and she gets to keep her engagement ring!
