“A Little Bonus”: Brooke Shields Just Detailed The Horrifying Moment A Surgeon Proudly Told Her He’d Given Her A Vaginal Rejuvenation Without Her Consent

Brooke Shields has revealed that a surgeon performed an unnecessary and invasive vaginal rejuvenation procedure without her knowledge or consent.

In recent years, Brooke has opened up about the impact that being heavily sexualized as a child has had on her, and she is set to share even more in her upcoming memoir, *Brooke Shields Is Not Allowed to Get Old: Thoughts on Aging as a Woman*.

Per Us Weekly, in the book, Brooke also details the disturbing medical experience that she endured in her 40s — purportedly apologizing to readers for being “too graphic” or “TMI” in her descriptions.

Shame is no longer an option.”

And Brooke opened up some more in an accompanying interview with Us Weekly, where she explained that after suffering discomfort such as bleeding and chafing due to the length of her labia since high school, her gynecologist told her in her 40s that she could have a surgical reduction to resolve these issues.

Brooke ultimately decided to go ahead with the procedure — but was left horrified when her male Beverly Hills surgeon dropped a bombshell during her post-op checkup.

“He informed me that he threw in a little bonus,” the star told Us, adding that in addition to the reduction to her labia, the surgeon had also performed a “rejuvenation” on her vagina, otherwise known as vaginal tightening.

Brooke had no idea that this procedure was going to be carried out, and had only consented to the labia reduction.

“It felt like such an invasion — such a bizarre, like, rape of some kind,” she said.

Brooke added that the doctor had been “legitimately proud” to explain to her that he had thrown in “a little twofer,” and she’d understandably been left “dumbfounded” by his behavior.

Brooke also told Us that she felt “shame” and “anger” over what had happened to her, and didn’t even tell her husband, Chris Henchy, about it “for the longest time.”
