Amy Schumer is giving her fans a shoutout for helping her make a serious health discovery.

"When I was going through, I guess it was like a year ago, and the internet really came for me after doing a bunch of press, and I was like, 'OK, everybody like, relax,'" Schumer revealed during a recent appearance on Alex Cooper's Call Her Daddy podcast. "But then doctors were chiming in in the comments."

"And they were like, 'No, no, we think something's really up. Like, your face looks so crazy and we think something's up," she added.

After first thinking she was getting "trolled by doctors" in the comments, Schumer, 43, eventually realized they may have been on to something.

"They were like, 'We think you have something called Cushing,' and it's like, about spiking cortisol, about cortisol levels and steroids, injection whatever," she said, while revealing that she was in fact later diagnosed with Cushing Syndrome as a result of high-dose steroid injections she was receiving to help with scars from her breast reduction and C-section.

"I had something called 'moon face,'" the Trainwreck star explained, noting that she learned about the diagnosis right before filming her upcoming Netflix comedy, Kinda Pregnant.

"So I was feeling really down on myself before I started filming this movie," Schumer added, but fortunately, the condition ended up "work[ing] itself out."
